The Osmanli Collection products which you purchased are entirely hand made and decorated by using either gold or silver to offer you the greatest pleasure.
During Ottoman times guests at the palace were served food and drink in gold vessels encrusted with rubies, emeralds and other gems. Such vessels made by royal goldsmiths reflected the splendor of the empire. These vessels are today exhibited in various museum collections. This Incili Jug is inspired by a rock crystal jug at Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul. The ovoid Timurid form jug is entirely handmade and blown. It is then decorated with etched floral scrolls and medallions and encrusted with colored glass stones and simulated pearls.
